Titanium Dioxide Rutile - R-902+

Ti-Pure™ R-902+ is a multi-purpose grade pigment recommended for use when a single pigment is required to perform well in interior and exterior gloss and semi-gloss systems. Though less resistant to weathering than other grades, R-902+ provides an excellent balance of performance properties.

A rutile titanium dioxide pigment, R-902+ is manufactured by the chloride process and is supplied as a fine, dry powder. It is specifically formulated to perform well in a wide range of solvent-based and aqueous systems and provides:

  • High chalk resistance
  • High gloss retention
  • High tint retention
  • Excellent resistance to overbake yellowing during cure

Ti-Pure™ R-104 is a general-purpose rutile titanium dioxide pigment designed primarily for plastics applications. Manufactured by the chloride process and supplied as a fine, dry white powder, it is specifically formulated to

Ti-Pure™ R-105 is a maximum-durability grade of titanium dioxide recommended for all applications that require extended outdoor service life. Ti-Pure™ R-105 is a rutile TiO2 pigment manufactured by the chloride process, which produces bright TiO2 with excellent opacity. The high opacity strength and neutral undertone of Ti-Pure™  R-105 provides the best flexibility in matching existing color tint formulas, and produces clean, bright color.

Ti-Pure™ R-706 is a universal pigment that offers exceptional performance in interior, exterior, and industrial applications and possesses a unique combination of performance properties that may allow for inventory reduction. R-706 is well suited for applications requiring high initial haze-free gloss and superior gloss retention over the life of the coating.

A rutile titanium dioxide pigment, R-706 is manufactured by the chloride process and is supplied as a fine, dry powder or in aqueous slurry form (R-746). It is specifically formulated to provide:

Ti-Pure™ R-350 is a unique titanium dioxide pigment designed for plastic applications. Manufactured by the chloride process and supplied as a fine, dry white powder, it is specifically formulated to provide:

Titanium Dioxide Rutile - TS-6200

TS-6200 is a superdurable pigment that has excellent dispersion properties, high initial gloss and exceptional gloss retention. TS-6200 is suitable for most exterior applications, including automotive, powder, coil and general industrial.

TS-6200 is a rutile pigment manufactured via Chemours's chloride process and supplied as a fine dry powder. Designed specifically for the most demanding durability applications, TS-6200 offers excellent gloss retention coupled with unique dispersing capabilities.

TS-6200 offers the coating manufacturer several ways to reduce cost. Rapid and complete dispersion of TS-6200 not only lowers energy costs, it can also eliminate some grind operations (e. g., media milling). Low dispersant demand allows for less dispersant in the coating, which decreases cost and can improve the properties of the final paint film.

Finally, formulators can take advantage of the unmatched durability of TS-6200 to lower the cost of expensive super-durable coatings while maintaining traditional levels of coating durability. By using TS-6200, costly resins can be replaced by less durable resins, or the amount of expensive durability additives (HALS, UV light absorbers, etc.) can be reduced, while still achieving the same durability as seen in coatings made with other TiO2 pigments.
